Prof. Ziska Fields
Founder, Facilitator, Educator, Presenter and Writer
Professor Ziska Fields is an Associate Professor in Business Management and a recognised authority in creativity, innovation, and problem-solving development. As a FourSight Certified Facilitator, Neethling Brain Instruments (NBI®) Practitioner, and South Africa’s Ambassador for World Creativity and Innovation, she brings deep expertise in understanding how individuals and teams think, create, and solve complex challenges. Her international influence is reflected in her role as an Advisory Board Member and as a Habilitator for the Chair of Innovation Research and Technology Management at Chemnitz University of Technology, Germany. She also contributes to scholarly excellence as a Community Reviewer on the editorial boards of Organizational Psychology within Frontiers in Psychology and Frontiers in Communication.

Professor Fields’ academic and research interests lie at the intersection of creativity, innovation, higher education, and entrepreneurship. Her work focuses on advancing creative capabilities in both educational and organisational contexts, with the aim of strengthening problem-solving capacity, fostering innovative thinking, and supporting sustainable growth. She has made extensive scholarly contributions, authoring twenty-one book chapters and editing nine IGI Global books — three indexed in Scopus. Her peer-reviewed journal publications span creativity, education, entrepreneurship, and human resource management, further solidifying her expertise in creativity-driven problem-solving.
With a strong commitment to academic mentorship, Professor Fields has successfully supervised numerous master’s and doctoral students and has hosted postdoctoral fellows. She is regularly invited to examine theses and dissertations at universities across South Africa and abroad, and she serves as a peer reviewer for a wide range of national and international journals.
